Hugging/kissing/flirting? Hugging/kissing will be politely tolerated (by the Soul)(Kris does not enjoy touching from strangers). All flirting will be met with counter-flirting. Please keep in mind Kris is underage (15-17ish). Yes, they will "flirt" with people of any age, gender or species but I swear to god if anyone makes it weird I'll get you
Attacking this character? Yeah go for it. They have the strength and agility of a mildly impressive human teenager. They are, however, shockingly good at dodging/deflecting most forms of attack, so they're not a total pushover.
Injuring this character? Ask first, but hell yeah i love beating the shit out of my blorbos
Torture (physical/mental)? Ask first! See above!! Yay!!
Death? Ask first! Depends on what the reasons/consequences are.
Reading this character's mind/emotions/memories? Let me know ahead of time so I can put stuff in my tags, but yes! Kris doesn't have much mental resistance per se, but they're very used to having someone else in their head. Surface thoughts can be read easily, but they have a lot of practice with censoring their thoughts and keeping certain details strictly private. They will also mentally sass anyone prodding around in there.
The Soul cannot be mind/emotion/memory read because its deal is unknowable and you probably don't want to know, but telepaths can figure out it's there either through sensing the otherwordly presence attached to them or through basic observation. Kris is sassing that thing constantly in their head so they're not exactly capable of hiding it.
Mind control? You can try!!! Three players one controller. Kris absolutely fucking hates this but it'd be really funny.

Warnings? They're an edgy teenager and they have a lot of issues. Topics that may come up include self-harm/suicidal thoughts, child neglect, divorce, kids going missing in the woods, survivor's guilt and all the trauma that comes with it, dissociation/derealization, intrusive thoughts, constant and (mostly) unwilling mind control, etc. They also hate anime for some reason. If you want Kris to drop a conversation keep pushing the topic to either divorce or anime.

Kris's pronouns are they/them, if u misgender them I will be sad (IC misgendering is fine just expect them to be sassy about it).
The Soul's pronouns are they/it. You can misgender them idgaf.

Unless stated otherwise, you can assume Kris is from a Pacifist route.

That's a dialogue choice, bucko! Whoa, what a cool and immersive feature!! If there's a dialogue choice in a tag I sent you, that means I thought of something really funny and/or cringe as hell and thus felt the need to show the path untaken. Please appreciate my dumb jokes at Kris's expense.

If it's not obvious from the rest of the tag, you can assume whatever is highlighted in yellow with the ♥︎ next to it is what was said out loud (or done, if it's an action). The other option is just flavour text. Unless there's time travel involved? Or mind control? Maybe??? I don't know.

♥︎ The SOUL

Kris is possessed by an entity known as the Soul, which co-pilots their body and takes charge of most major and/or inconsequential decisions for them. Sometimes these are things Kris would've done anyway, other times they are not. Typically, they will go along with whatever weird or stupid thing they are being forced to say/do but they'll give a lot of attitude about it. Tags will always be written from Kris's perspective regardless, but if they're ever acting weird and you don't know what the hell a delta rune is, dwbi, they're normal. Feel free to have your character(s) think their behaviour is weird tho.

It is a commonly accepted theory that the Soul is a stand-in for the player of the game (hi). For the sake of not making things weird, I am not doing this. I will be treating the Soul as an otherworldly, human-adjacent entity that has some knowledge of the Undertale universe but is otherwise just another character within the story of Deltarune. In the event that the Soul-is-the-player thing is actually confirmed canon, my soulsona is a hardcore RPer who never breaks character ever.

Please talk to me before having your character figure out the Soul exists/has a separate mind/is puppeteering Kris's body against(??) their will/etc. Both Kris and the Soul will continue to be disinterested in talking about what the fuck is going on with that anyway, but like, they are somewhat united in the desire to keep it as lowkey as possible. Please help them (and also me) never talk about The Situation so I don't get retconned out the ass when the next chapter drops, thank you.

The Soul has several psychic powers that are now relevant in RP, yayy.

For labyrinthum, it currently has the ability to locate and project its vision onto any person Kris knows the face of (clairvoyance). In this state, it can watch everything that person is currently doing and, if desired, project helpful(?) suggestions into that person's mind on what to do next. It cannot (currently...??) force it's target to act on those suggestions (unless they are simply prone to suggestion).

Kris thinks this is super creepy and rude, but also, if they do it the Soul can't bug them for a few minutes, so they are absolutely going to make it everyone else's problem. Please babysit their Soul so they can be normal and eat pie sometimes.
